Shipping Methods, Cut-Off Times and Returns

Are you wondering how long it will take for your order to arrive in the mail? Depending on the location of the item and the carrier that is delivering your package, your order may take up to 10 business days to reach your doorstep. We offer two shipping methods:

  • Standard: Order received within 5-10 business days.
  • Expedited: Order received in 5 business days or less.

Larger, oversized items will be shipped via common carrier truck freight. On occasion, there may be instances when the item is too large to be delivered via express shipping and will need to go through ground shipping services. All orders submitted by 12 p.m. Central Standard Time Monday through Friday usually will ship same day. Orders received after 12 p.m. CST will usually ship on the second or third business day. Payment errors and holidays may delay shipping time. 

Shipments can be tracked. Use the instructions noted in your shipping confirmation email or login to "My Account" and visit the "My Orders" section.

Returning an Item
Before you return an item purchased online, you must not use the product and you must keep it in its original packaging.

To start a return request, please contact the phone number listed on your packing slip, 800-304-6067, and have your order number ready along with the item numbers you want to return. With this information, your Customer Service representative will be able to open a return and provide you with a Return Authorization Number for your records. After the return is initiated, you will receive an automated email with complete return instructions.

After you have shipped back the items, track your package to ensure the safe return of the item. Save your tracking number in a safe place. You will need your tracking number in the event your return package is lost. When your item is received and accepted by Polaris®, you can expect a refund for your return to go to the original credit or debit card used to make the purchase.

Please note, it may take up to 10 days to process the refund after your item has been delivered to our warehouse. We are unable to refund original or return shipping charges. Your return will be rejected if you return the item outside 30 days or if you return the item damaged.

Service manuals and fluids cannot be returned.

Shipping Generators
All POLARIS Power generator orders ship for $39.99 standard or $59.99 expedited.

The actual arrival time of your order depends on whether you selected expedited or standard shipping. Orders placed Monday through 12 p.m. Friday will be shipped within three days. Orders placed after 12 p.m. Friday until Sunday will ship the following Wednesday.

The return policy for POLARIS generators is the same as all other online orders. Follow the procedure detailed above. There is a 30-day return policy. Before you return an item you purchased online, you must not use the product and you must keep it in its original packaging.

Shipping Less than Load (LTL)
Some items must ship freight. These items will note they are shipping LTL on their product page, as shown below. This will be noted in the Product Summary portion of the page.


Items shipping LTL cannot ship with Express Shipping. The carrier will reach out to you to schedule an appointment for delivery. It may take three to five days for the carrier to contact you.
