A-22-02 Polaris Sportsman Bulletin

The following is a copy of the A-22-02 Consumer Letter. Vehicles affected by this bulletin will receive notification by mail to the address the vehicle is registered to.
Dear Polaris Owner,
Thank you for purchasing a Polaris vehicle. This notice is to inform you that an issue identified with your vehicle does not meet Polaris product quality standards. Our records show you have purchased an affected vehicle.
The reason for this notice:
Some 2022 Sportsman 570 Touring/6x6 models were built with gauge software that is missing the menu option for Multi-Select EPS. Multi-Select EPS is a feature new for 2022 Sportsman which allows the operator to select the level of assistance (low, medium, or high) provided by the power of the steering system.
What you should do:
If you would like the feature activated, contact your authorized Polaris dealer to schedule an appointment to have a software update performed. The update can only be performed by an authorized Polaris dealer and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. When making contact with your dealer, discuss their schedule and how long they will need to keep your vehicle.
What your dealership will do:
To address this concern, Polaris has authorized your dealer to install updated software into the gauge and restore the Multi-Select EPS option in the gauge menu. This work will be performed by your dealer at no cost to you.
This notice was mailed to you according to our most current registration information. If you no longer own this vehicle, or if some of the contact information in this notice is incorrect, please contact your dealer to complete a transfer of ownership. Federal law requires that any vehicle lessor receiving this notice must forward a copy of this lessee within 10 days.
If you need assistance contacting or locating a Polaris dealer, or if you have questions your Polaris dealer is not able to address, contact our Polaris Owner Connections Department at 1-800-POLARIS (765-2747), scan the QR code, or go to the Polaris Help Center.
We apologize for this inconvenience and assure you that we are committed to customer satisfaction and providing world-class products for riders to enjoy.
